Coming solo? You'll be in good company. Many of our retreat guests join on their own and leave with new friendships. Hi! I'm Lea, wife to Josh and mom to two precious babies in Heaven, Ellie and Layton. We recently said goodbye to our 19-year-old cocker spaniel, Sadie, and find ourselves dogless for the first time in over 20 years. Although it's sad, I'm taking the time to grieve the loss of both Sadie and our Yorkie, Bailey, before welcoming another furry friend into our lives.
I freelance for various craft companies, offering marketing, creative, and educational services. I use my education and love of paper crafting every single day at work. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Montana, with a focus on marketing and management. I also attended intensive career training at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography, which is equivalent to the education level of a degree without the additional studies or focus on photojournalism.
My life is incredibly creative, and I work extremely hard to have a career in the industry I love so much. We're currently in the midst of an exciting yet challenging year, as we move back to my beloved home state of Montana and build our forever home. - A small group size of 21 guests means lots of interactions with our guest teacher
- All classes will be in the Fox Forest classroom on the main level.
- Students will be emailed a supply list in early July, which will include the ink colors Lea will be using, as well as the basic supplies needed.
Lodging Information:
Fox Forest's capacity can welcome 21 guests to this Tickled Pink Event. We have 21 luxury beds. All beds have a privacy curtain, personal reading light, fan, and charging station.
Lodging will be assigned in one of the following arrangements:
- White Pines Main Level Bedroom - sleeps 7 and has 2 en suite bathrooms
- White Pines First Floor Bedroom - sleeps 3 and shares the hallway bathroom
- White Pines First Floor Bedroom - sleeps 2 and shares the hallway bathroom
- Willow Way - sleeps 4 and has an en suite bathroom
- Valley View- sleeps 5 and has a private bathroom with a second vanity outside of the bathroom
Registered guests can request room assignments, and we will do our best to accommodate all.
A la Carte Classes at Firefly Farm
Saturday, August 2nd
9:30 - 11:30 AM - Pretty Pink Posh Card Class with Lea Lawson | $47
- Students will make 3 adorable cards with Lea. Images will be pre-stamped. Lea will go over stenciling, ink blending, die-cutting, and assembling. Kit will include a Pretty Pink Posh stencil set, and guests can add the coordinating stamp and die at a special class price.
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM - Lunch Break
12:30 - 2:30 PM- Shake it Up with Pretty Pink Posh | $47
- Guests will make two fun shaker cards with Lea. Pretty Pink Posh has an incredible selection of shaker dies, beads, and confetti, so we decided to feature them in this class! The kit will include a die and beads or confetti that you will need to complete your cards.
- All classes will be in the Firefly Farm classroom.
- Students will be emailed a supply list in early July, which will include the ink colors Lea will be using, as well as the basic supplies needed.
