*2026 Events*

Virtual Events: In the spring of 2020, Firefly Farm started hosting virtual experiences that started out as a daily event called Crop in the Box, and quickly grew into our Creative Crates- themed packages featuring gifts, challenges, exclusive cardmaking and scrapbooking classes (from many of our industry's leading designers), and so much more! All of this is facilitated on a private Facebook group. We are thrilled to be kicking off our 2026 with our 20th Creative Crate!

FYI, we carry the same theme through the 4 Virtual Events in a given year.  Our 2026 theme is Delta Fi Scrappa, which you will see carried through in our graphics, labels, and packaging.  The theme is rarely reflected in the classes/make and takes, as those focus on using the newest products available.

Fawn Fest | April 27-May 3

Fawn Fest is a Creative Crate featuring Lawn Fawn products!  Psssst... if you love Lawn Fawn, you are going to love this event!

Your Fawn Fest special delivery will include:

  • An exclusive Lawn Fawn card class, a special make and take with Creative Chick Jenn Shurkus, AND a special make and take with Chari Moss- MossyMade!
  • A welcome gift (of brand new Lawn Fawn, of course)
    • 4 cards designed by Firefly Farm designer Lyndsay Breid- using the new releases
  • 4 wrapped daily gifts (all Lawn Fawn inspired)
  • Challenge opportunities
  • Exclusive promotions
  • A Q&A (via our Facebook group) with Kelly Marie Alvarez, and more!
  • All for only $239!*
  • Note, you can register for Fawn Fest here. However, if you plan to take advantage of our 4-Pack payment plan and $40 gift certificate, you will want to register for the Virtual 4-Pack option (not the Fawn Fest option). You do not have to register for any of the other virtual events, but most of our guests like to participate in all of them (which is why we offer special promotions for registering for 3 or 4 events).

Jenn Shurkus has taught in person and virtually for Firefly Farm many times since we opened in 2017. We were lucky enough to have her teach at our first Creative Crate event and many since. We’re always delighted when this super creative chick shares her fun designs featuring Lawn Fawn.

Chari Moss has been on the Lawn Fawn Design Team since 2011. She also started working for Lawn Fawn full-time in 2023, leaving behind a career in architecture. She loves cute, happy designs with a balance of clean lines. She enjoys making things with her hands, so in addition to paper crafting, she likes to cross-stitch and sew. She is native to the mountains of Western North Carolina, where she still lives today with her husband and dachshund Scout.

Lyndsay Breid has been crafty for as long as she can remember. She scrapbooked for a few years but moved to cardmaking when she began teaching for A Muse Artstamps in 2005. She attended instructor training in Seattle and taught for A Muse Artstamps around the Twin Cities. Lyndsay has been working for Firefly Farm since 2018. She enjoys designing card kits and kitchen displays. Her style is clean and simple.

Make and Take
with Chari Moss

Jodi is the Sales Manager for Simple Stories and is passionate about preserving memories through scrapbooking. When she was little, she dreamed of working in a sticker store. It came true when she was 19 and approached by the owner of her local scrapbook store, Daisy D’s, to manage it. The shop closed after ten years, and Jodi spent some time in the photobook industry, but her heart wasn’t into it like paper, stickers, and glue. She found her way back home at Simple Stories. Jodi lives in Utah with her husband, two kids, three cats, and three spoiled dogs.

As the mother of two adult girls, Joey has been creating for more than 25 years. Her experience as a scrapbook store owner and positions in sales and education with Bazzill Basics Paper, American Crafts, and Photoplay have kept her happily in the industry since 1996, doing what she loves...playing with paper! She has seen trends come and go over the years, but has always seen herself as a simple scrapbooker, sharing the stories of those who live in her photos.

Missy is our Graphic Designer for Firefly Farm and the Chief Engagement Officer for Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes. Missy and Trisha have worked closely in the scrapbooking industry for many years, and Missy has designed for a few vendors throughout her career. Missy spends much of her free time hiking and biking with her husband, cheering for her kids at volleyball and soccer, volunteering at her kids’ schools, and squeezing in time for getting creative whenever possible.

Lea is a marketing and creative professional who freelances for various craft companies, combining her education and passion for papercrafting every day. She holds a BA in Business Administration with a focus on marketing and management from the University of Montana and completed intensive training at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography. Life’s a little wild right now, as she and her husband, Josh, are building their dream home back in her home state of Montana, all while missing their sweet pups, Sadie and Bailey. Through it all, she’s finding joy in creativity and sharing her love for the crafty world.

Libby Hickson has been papercrafting for over 20 years and has worked in the industry for most of that time. She’s the Sales & Marketing Director for Pink & Main and, in her free time, is also a designer for Dina Wakley releases. She loves a wide variety of styles – from fun & cutesie marker coloring to getting her hands covered in paint with mixed media! Libby lives in the Atlanta area with her husband and is mom to two wonderful young adults. Her constant companions in the craft room are her dog, Bonnie, and her black cat, Snuggles. She loves birdwatching, gardening, anything purple, and Broadway shows. You can find her on Instagram at @createwithlibby.

Melissa Miller is a lover of all things that go with paper crafting! Melissa is from Minnesota but lives in California and makes at least one trip back each year to visit family and friends. On one of her annual trips, she came across Firefly Farm! Melissa has been paper crafting for well over 20 years, is known for making treat boxes for every holiday, and has completed a scrapbook or two, but card making is what makes her happy. Making someone smile and feel loved with a handmade card makes her heart sing!
